Tomorrow, I do rotors and pads on the front of the Subaru. Hoping to be able to turn them, but they are at .900 and it calls for a minimum of .866. Not much room there.

Anybody have any any recommendations for rotors that is not getting into racing mode? The local NAPA dealer says their OEM rotors, though made in China, are good.

Oponions please. Thank you.

I bought some "Pro Stop" rotors (or something like that) from a local pep boys. They were cheap and the 50k miles I put on the car before I sold it were problem free.

Centric Premium rotors are awesome. They have a black coating on the hat to deter rust. Practically ALL rotors are Chinese, except some expensive racing rotors.

Don't even bother turning rotors, even if you had more thickness. More effort than it's worth when you ca just go out and get new discs.
